To complete family history. James Kendrick was married to my cousin Margaret (Peggy); he was killed in a flying accident whilst serving in the RAF. I retired from the RAF in 1996 as the first Engineer officer to attain four star rank and be a member of the Air Force Board, hence this connection with a cousin by marriage whom I never met.
